1. Purpose and publisher
These terms govern access to monetec.com and the use of Monetec services offered by GENETEC SARL. Contracts and specific terms applicable to subscribed offers supplement these rules.
2. Access to services
Counting features require a suitable device and, where applicable, compatible equipment. Some tools require an account, internet access, credits or an active subscription.
3. Counting and responsibility
Monetec enables cash counts, closings and cash-desk operations to be performed and consulted. Results are provided as assistance and must be checked by the user before any financial or accounting use.
4. Monetec Cloud and permissions
Access to Cloud information depends on account permissions. Available data is limited to the establishment or organisational scope assigned to each user.
Some sensitive operations may require additional approval from an Android device linked to the account, by an authorised administrator.
5. User obligations
Users must not attempt to circumvent security measures, impersonate another account, access third-party data without permission or disrupt the services.
6. Data and privacy
Count data and cashier information are stored locally unless the corresponding services are subscribed to and synchronisation with Monetec servers is authorised. Please read our privacy policy.
7. Availability and changes
Interfaces and features may change, in particular for maintenance and security. Any agreed service availability commitments are defined in the relevant offers and contracts.
8. Intellectual property
Trademarks, logos, software, interfaces and content remain the property of their respective owners. Access to the services does not transfer any intellectual property rights.
